Rulebook on internal organization and systematization of workplaces in the State Attorney's Office (hereinafter: Rulebook) it is determined that a Department for the representation of the Republic of Serbia before the European Court of Human Rights (hereinafter: Department) is established at the headquarters of the Office of the Attorney General (Article 4, Paragraph 1, Item 1)) and that the Department is headed by a deputy - representative (Article 4, paragraph 1, point 3)).

Also, the Rulebook stipulates that all tasks within the competence of the Department are performed by 8 civil servants (Article 18, Clause 9 of the Rulebook), namely:

  • 1 civil servant in position -IIIposition group - deputy state attorney - representative of the Republic of Serbia before the European Court of Human Rights (competencies)
     
  • 7 civil servants in executive positions
  • 4 legal assistants in the title of independent adviser
  • 3 attorney's assistants with the title of adviser
  • 1 referent

Finally, the Rulebook foresees 6 positions in the Department

  • The Deputy State Attorney - the representative of the Republic of Serbia before the European Court of Human Rights manages the Department, plans, directs and supervises the work within the scope of the Department
  • Legal assistant - representation, analysis and cooperation with the European Court
  • Attorney's assistant-jobs representation and cooperation with the European Court
  • Legal assistant - jobs care and coordination regarding the execution of judgmentsof the European Court of Human Rights
  • Attorney's assistant - tasks of monitoring the execution of judgments of the European Court of Human Rights
  • workplace for administrative and record-keeping tasks

Currently, 9 civil servants are employed in executive positions in the Department, namely:

  •  7 indefinitely
  • 4 civil servants in the position of independent adviser
  • 2 civil servants in the position of advisor
  • 1 civil servant in the title of clerk

  • 1 civil servant in the rank of advisor
  • 2 civil servants in the position of clerk
